Feb 27, Marcello S rated it liked it. My two gripes are the same as with the three previous I think Lucarelli is one hell of a writer. Lucarelli can write so beautifully, his ability to describe something is wonderful, and he understands drama, but here, in “Almost Blue” I feel he’s tried to be too clever, too bloody and too melodramatic.

While the serial killer and his motives are rather generic and in the conclusion, when he hears no more bells, decidedly anticlimcaticSimone and Grazia are more interesting characters. A novella at only pages that is a real page turner. Other books in the series. Molto avvincente, piuttosto spaventoso, per me che non sono avvezza all’horror.

Non vi dico le parti legate al ragazzo cieco, che trovo sublimi, inventate a regola d’arte, con la descrizione del suo mondo attraverso luacrelli colori come li intende lui.
